Session 7

Again, wow! I love the note-taking possibliities. I can see with some of my more advanced students, who are able to do some beginning research, this would be helpful.
I love the part where you can do a "summary" on an article found.

Certainly the Subject directories have endless possibilities. I can see at the second grade level that this could even be a great whole group investigation.

Session 6

I had no idea how to check sources. This is great! I have been one who tends to be too trusting when it comes to looking at sources and what the messages may be. the "Zack" article really was an eye openner.

Session 5

Eventhough I was not here at the last session, I read through the session's material.
I wish that I had been here.

This has been great!! I am overwhelmed in a terrific way. I had no idea that that any of our topics tonight were out there. I can see much to use wiith my students. What wonderful resources for differentiating!

I have one student using a sight we visited the other day. She is thrilled!!

Thank you.

Session 3

Well, this has flown by. Such practical information!

I really liked the table making work. Last summer, I worked on Excel and I am very glad that i did. I must say that some of the products that I worked on could more easily have been done on Word tables. I lookd forward to doing my class lists and grade book (Gr. 2 level) on this site.

I think of all of the work done making and even instructing on the writing of rubrics.
Wow! has tonight ever openned my eyes! I look forward to investigating rubrics for younger children.

Thank you!!

Session 2

This has been a very informational and practical session.

I am more comfortable with just the term "blog". I learned that once you publish a blog you cannot edit it unless you go back to the beginning.

Also, it was great to put the "essential question", learnings to this "Big6" format. Many years ago there was a great deal of teaching available through D. Pickering, B.
Marzano, and Jay McTighe on essential question writing. It is great to see the integration does continue in new formats!

I found more on the I.T. website than in my initial attempts.

Throughout this session I have had three little people specifically in mind. These students are very advanced and I see much that I can lead them to work on.
